About Prime MedGas Services Inc.

Prime MedGas Services Inc. is an independent, SCC-accredited inspection body providing third-party medical gas system inspection and certification services in accordance with CSA Z7396.1 and applicable regulatory requirements across Western Canada.

The company is owned and operated by Jason Clark, who brings over 15 years of experience in the medical gas industry. Jason holds Red Seal certifications in Plumbing and Steamfitting, is a certified Gas Fitter (Second Class), and has extensive experience working in healthcare environments supporting new construction, renovations, and system modifications. His background includes hands-on involvement in medical gas installations, commissioning, and compliance verification across hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Prime MedGas Services Inc. is fully committed to maintaining impartiality, objectivity, and independence in all inspection activities.

Top management ensures that:

  • Inspection activities are conducted objectively and without influence from commercial, financial, or other pressures.

  • Conflicts of interest are identified, assessed, documented, and effectively managed through formal internal procedures.

  • Inspection personnel do not participate in design, installation, construction, or repair activities for systems they inspect.

  • Business decisions and client relationships do not compromise the integrity or independence of inspection outcomes.

Impartiality is a core principle of Prime MedGas’ management system and is actively supported through documented policies, risk assessments, and ongoing oversight by top management.

Our Role

Prime MedGas Services Inc. provides independent third-party inspection and certification services for medical gas and vacuum systems, including:

  • Verification of compliance with CSA Z7396.1

  • Inspection of new and modified medical gas systems

  • Certification and documentation for healthcare facilities

  • Coordination of laboratory sampling where required

Prime MedGas does not perform installation, construction, or corrective work on systems it inspects, ensuring full independence and objectivity in all inspection activities.
