CERTIFICATION INSPECTIONS - NEW OR MODIFIED SYSTEMS

Prime Medgas performs Accredited Medical Gas Certification inspections on newly installed or modified/ renovated Medical Gas Systems. These inspections include verification of proper piping practices according to the CAN/CSA Z7396.1 Standard, and usually involve some or all of the following depending on project scope:

All types and brands of source equipment– Liquid bulk vessel systems (oxygen, nitrogen, nitrous oxide);  Mini bulk (cryo tank) oxygen systems;  Oxygen concentrator systems;  Medical air compressor systems;  Medical vacuum & AGSS systems;  Instrument/ Lab air compressors;  Pressure gas cylinder supply manifolds (oxygen, medical air, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, other).

    OUR ACCREDITATION SCOPE ALSO INCLUDES:

• All Medical gas related alarm panels (Master & zones)

• Terminal unit outlets- New or existing re-certification

• Correct system functionality

• Gas purity sampling

• Verification of installer credentials/ certificates.

• Standards advice/assistance

• Drawing reviews pre-project and throughout project duration

• Any size of built-in system from small clinic to complete hospitals
