CERTIFICATION INSPECTIONS – NEW OR MODIFIED SYSTEMS

Prime MedGas Services Inc. provides independent, SCC-accredited inspection and certification services for newly installed or modified medical gas and vacuum systems in accordance with CAN/CSA Z7396.1 and applicable regulatory requirements.

Our inspections are limited to objective verification of system compliance and do not include installation, construction, repair, or corrective work.

Inspection activities may include, as applicable to the project scope:

• Verification of piping installation and system configuration

• Inspection of source equipment including:

  • Bulk liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and nitrous oxide systems

  • Mini-bulk (cryogenic) oxygen systems

  • Medical air compressor systems

  • Medical vacuum and AGSS systems

  • Instrument and laboratory air systems

  • Pressure gas cylinder supply manifolds

• Verification of alarm systems (master and area alarms)

• Inspection and certification of terminal unit outlets (new or existing)

• Verification of system performance and functional testing results

• Review of documentation and test records provided by the installer

• Coordination of gas purity sampling where required

Accreditation Scope

Prime MedGas Services Inc. is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) as an inspection body for medical gas piping systems. All inspection activities are performed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020 and CSA Z7396.1.

Independence and Impartiality

Prime MedGas Services Inc. does not perform installation, construction, repair, or modification work on medical gas systems it inspects. All inspection activities are conducted independently to ensure objectivity, impartiality, and compliance with accreditation requirements.
